The best way to passing your road test in Brooklyn on your very first or next try is to avoid getting points. You don't have to be perfect. 30 points or less and you have a license. But 35 points or more and you are denied a license.

The 5 hour class is a mandatory class.Everyone seeking a driver's license in NYS must complete the 5 hour class. It consists of 3 hours of lecture, 1 hour of video presentation and 1 hour for breaks. The goal of the 5 hour class is to teach prospective drivers how to drive in a Safe, Courteous and Defensive manner.​ As a result of Covid 19 rules the 5 hour class, also know as the 5 hour pre-licensing course has moved online. We now refer to the 5 hour class as the online 5 hour course. Our online 5 hour course is taught over Zoom. You can attend on a laptop, desktop or even your cell phone. You no longer have to come to us, we come to you wherever you are. It is not to be confused (as it often is) with the 6 hour defensive course. This is a class for drivers who already have a license. So if you have a license, our online 5 hour course is not for you. You need the 6 hour defensive course. Click here to be taken to the 6 hour defensive course

After you have registered for the class you have to upload a copy (back and front image) of your picture id learner's permit
